It is important to note that the free IQ tests found on the Internet can not be held as your official score. To find your official score you need to take a supervised and recognised test. However, the tests on the Internet will give you an indication of your score and are worth taking for this reason and also as a mind stimulating exercise in themselves.
It is also worth noting that the score you get at the end of the test is not set in stone. This number is interesting as a benchmarking figure, but don’t hold it as your finite IQ score. If you invest in yourself, you can improve on this score.
The best way to approach these tests is to enjoy the process of being challenged. Take note of what you had difficulty with and see it as a hill to be climbed, not as an unmovable wall. If you focus on the areas where you struggle, you will have a clear idea where you can improve, rather than shooting in the dark – this is one of the major benefits of IQ tests.
